Panoramic Associates are currently supporting a southern local authority client with their search for a Children’s Commissioning Officer to join a friendly team, managing commissioning for Looked After Children and Early Help.
This assignment will involve managing a number of existing contracts for LAC and implementing a Quality Assurance framework, as well as re-tendering for a supported accommodation framework. The postholder will also line-manage two Contracts Officers.
📌 Applicants must have recent experience of commissioning within local authority children’s services and report writing for senior leaders. Experience within LAC and a working knowledge of the types of placements is essential for this role.
Contract length: 6 months initially
Day rate: £300 per day via umbrella company
Working arrangement: monthly onsite visits for team meetings (southern LA)
Start date: ASAP (will accommodate up to a 4-week notice)
