Day Rate: £300 per day

Would you like to join Housing Assets Compliance Team and play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance for Asbestos & Legionella, and overseeing necessary remedial actions. This crucial responsibility contributes to the safety and compliance of housing buildings in alignment with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Water Safety – The control of legionella bacteria in water systems ACOP L8, as part of the Council’s strategic objectives.
Lead the delivery and management of ACM & Legionella work programs and associated remedial actions promptly as required.
- Take full accountability for defining, documenting, and successfully completing programs within agreed deadlines.
- Precisely allocate actions to relevant officers, continuously track, update, maintain, and ensure completion within prescribed timeframes.
- Provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
- Manage change control procedures, ensuring project deliverables are accomplished within planned cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and obtain sign-off.
- Offer effective leadership to all teams involved and take appropriate action if teams’ performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
- Formally close own projects and conduct subsequent reviews, recording valuable lessons learned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- BOHS P405 managing Asbestos & Legionella in buildings or equivalent
- Expertise in project delivery through overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and motivating them to meet personal and organizational goals.
- Capability to deliver projects and products using suitable housing management data systems, portals, platforms, and iterative project management methodologies.
- Skill in report writing and communication for diverse audiences, showcasing numeracy, literacy, and subject matter expertise.
- Previous experience in Social Housing, health and safety compliance or similar environment/role
- In-depth understanding of the latest trends in project management, stakeholder involvement, and enhancing business systems and processes within a complex organization.
