Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Specialist Education Centre based in London to facilitate the appointment of an experienced Educational Lead / SENCo to support the centre’s mission of providing exceptional educational opportunities for students with special educational needs.
Within the role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the SEN department, ensuring the highest standards of support for students with SEND.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Lead and manage the school, ensuring the highest standards of support for students.
- Develop and implement EHCPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Provide training and support for staff on SEND best practices and inclusive teaching methods.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a SENCo role or similar within an educational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Next Steps:
This role is a permanent position and offering £40,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience. This is a site-based role.
