Panoramic Associates has exclusively partnered with a London Borough in their search for a Head of SEND Commissioning & Capital Projects.
This is an exciting 6-month initial assignment with a competitive day rate (via umbrella company). There will be a requirement to go onsite 3 days a week to the council.
Responsibilities: As the Head of SEND Commissioning & Capital Projects, you will:
- Lead on the commissioning of SEND service
- Manage the provision of SEND services
- Oversee Home2School Transport initiatives
- Manage the Local Offer
- Lead School Place Planning for SEND
- Line manage 6 direct reports
Required Criteria:
- Essential experience in SEND Commissioning
- Proven line management skills within a local authority
- Demonstrated success in delivering capital projects, including developing new provisions (e.g. SEN Special Schools)
- A track record of effectively managing budgets
