Panoramic Associates has exclusively partnered with a London Borough in their search for a Head of SEND Commissioning & Capital Projects.

This is an exciting 6-month initial assignment with a competitive day rate (via umbrella company). There will be a requirement to go onsite 3 days a week to the council.

Responsibilities: As the Head of SEND Commissioning & Capital Projects, you will:

  • Lead on the commissioning of SEND service
  • Manage the provision of SEND services
  • Oversee Home2School Transport initiatives
  • Manage the Local Offer
  • Lead School Place Planning for SEND
  • Line manage 6 direct reports

Required Criteria:

  • Essential experience in SEND Commissioning
  • Proven line management skills within a local authority
  • Demonstrated success in delivering capital projects, including developing new provisions (e.g. SEN Special Schools)
  • A track record of effectively managing budgets
