Interim Public Health Specialist
6-12 months, full time, daily rate
Panoramic Associates is seeking a skilled Interim Public Health Specialist to join our local authority client for an exciting and impactful project. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with an on-site presence one day per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilise a new stop smoking service by leading its development and implementation.
- Support the strategy around securing additional funding opportunities.
- Develop and support comprehensive tobacco control plans.
- Contribute to efforts and policies related to vaping.
- Drive community-focused health initiatives.
- Provide guidance and oversight to one officer.
- Oversee initiatives in cancer prevention and air quality improvement.
- Engage in broader public health projects as the contract progresses.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related qualification.
- Proven experience in a public health role within a local authority.
- Demonstrated expertise in tobacco control or smoking cessation programs.
