Interim Registered Manager – Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities
We are working with a reputable learning disabilities provider who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support. They are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to help oversee their residential service based in West Yorkshire. This will be on a 6 months basis starting immediately.
Role Overview:
As the Interim Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential service, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. You will be instrumental in leading a team of dedicated staff, implementing strategic improvements, and driving a CQC turnaround to achieve and maintain outstanding ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to the residential service, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents.
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of person-centered care plans, tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards, leading the service through a period of improvement and development.
- Manage, mentor, and support staff, fostering a positive and inclusive working culture.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting, preferably within learning disabilities services.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in driving service improvements.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage change, and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to promoting the rights, independence, and dignity of residents.
