£42,000 – £55,000
Panoramic Associates have partnered up with one of our local authority clients in the Northern Home Counties, who are looking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join their established legal team.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis however, there is great flexibility on offer within the team to work the majority of the time on a remote basis with only occasional office attendance being required for planning committee.
The salary on offer ranges between £42,000 – 55,000 per annum dependent upon experience and for those with a strong background working within local government an additional car allowance of up to £3,000 is also on offer.

The successful candidate will have conduct of Sec.106 planning agreements and advise on highways matters.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handling a caseload of planning law matters including drafting s106 agreements
- Providing legal advice on a wide range of planning matters.
- Advising on highways matters
- Handling planning enforcement matters such as issuing planning enforcement notices.
- Attend planning committees on behalf of the local authority
An ideal candidate will consist the following skillset and attributes:
- 3-5 years PQE as a Planning Solicitor
- Previous experience working within a local authority
- Strong knowledge and understanding of planning law
- Preferably previous experience advising on highways law
