Speciality: Hands on experience supporting SEN and SEMH pupils and family.
We are seeking a Senior Lead of Early Help and Family Support for a leading education provider for young people with range of diverse special educational needs. You will lead and oversee the school’s early help and family support services, ensuring the delivery of holistic, high-quality care that prioritizes the welfare and safeguarding of all learners. This role focuses on collaborative working, proactive problem-solving, and providing integrated support to learners and their families, in alignment with statutory guidance and best practices
Experience and qualifications:
- Design and implement the school’s Early Help and Family Support strategy, ensuring alignment with Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) and Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024).
- Collaborate with the Senior Lead for Learner Welfare to integrate early help initiatives within the school’s broader pastoral care and safeguarding frameworks.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with local authorities, health services, social care, and other agencies to coordinate effective support for learners and their families.
- Represent the school in multi-agency meetings, advocating for learners’ needs and ensuring their voices are heard.
